2 kinds of photo services: events & projects
An event is based on location and time. It could be a corporate convention, a seminar, a training session, a business presentation, an art performance, a school graduation, a church service, a sports event, a public gathering, or any manner of private events like weddings, birthday parties, memorial services etc. Unlike studio work, the event is the creative content itself, and you are just hiring us to come and shoot to document it, with one or multiple photographers.
We will shoot as much content as we can, always from the best angles; left, right, center, back, wide and close ups. All the usual safe shots then individuals, groups, kids, food, decor, venue, landscape, posed, candid, action, network, ceremony, speeches, performances, and many other little things that will help us provide you a complete photo gallery, that is creative, artistic, and meaningful.
Unlike events, projects are not only based only on location and time, but mostly on ideas and scenes. It could be a car, a house, a place, a product, a business, a person, a story or an ad. We will then create all the content from scratch, first cutting your ideas into scenes, and then shoot them one at a time.
Each scene requires its own preparation, staging, lighting, equipment, crew, location, and its costs will be estimated individually. While some scenes are easy and quick to produce, like a perfume bottle over a pure white background, others might take hours to stage and prepare, but just 1 second to shoot.
We can shoot at our beautiful studio in Berkeley, CA or at any other location in California, other states or countries. Projects could involve just one photographer or sometimes a director and a crew.
Event photography prices are flat rates based on hours and location, then adjusted based on the day of the week, holidays, and how close the event is from a metro area. Prices include filming, editing, travel.
Wedding photography prices are flat rates based on hours and location, then adjusted based on the day of the week, holidays, and how close the event is from a metro area. Prices include filming, editing, travel.
Project photography prices are based on the number of people, products, scenes, photos per scene, hours of preparation, staging, casting, shooting, editing, props, talents, at our studio or on location, or just simply matching a budget.
